This Privacy Policy explains how Bountiful New Zealand (Bounty Educational Services Limited, "Bountiful NZ", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website (bountifulpacks.co.nz) and the Bountiful Parenting App ("the App"), together "our services". By using our services you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

When you use our services you may be asked to provide certain personal information, such as your name, email address, due date or child's date of birth, and location ("personal information"). We collect this to provide you with information and to support the normal use and improvement of our services.

If you use the App, we may also collect:

• Account and profile information you choose to add (such as pregnancy week or baby's age)
• App usage data (such as features used and pages viewed)
• Device information (such as device type and operating system)
• Approximate location, where permitted by your device settings

How we use your information

We use your personal information to provide our services, personalise your experience (such as week-by-week content), respond to your enquiries, and improve our website and App. We will store this information for as long as is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your personal information at any time. To do so, please email office@bountifulpacks.co.nz with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line, including the email address or account associated with your data.

We will action your request within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes. Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.

Disclosure of information

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, or to our professional advisers and other parties as necessary for the administration of our services and related business.

Subject to you providing consent (for example, by ticking a box when prompted), we may also share your personal information with other companies, business associates, or affiliates who may contact you about products or services that may interest you. You can ask us not to do this at any time by contacting us as described in clause 9 below.

Aggregated and analytics information

To help us understand how our services are used and to improve them, we gather aggregated information such as operating system, browser version, domain name, IP address, and the pages you visit. We use Google Analytics on our website, and Google Analytics (GA4) and Firebase within the App, for this purpose.

We may share aggregate statistics and traffic patterns with third parties for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes, but this aggregate data will never include personal information that identifies you.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser on your device. We use cookies to store information such as your user ID and session identifiers - we do not store passwords or other sensitive personal information in cookies. Third parties advertising on our site may also use their own cookies, over which we have no control.

You can refuse cookies through your browser settings, or by visiting the Internet Advertising Bureau's opt-out page at www.youronlinechoices.com. If you do this, some parts of our website may not work as intended.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, respond to enquiries, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Where information is no longer needed for these purposes, we will delete or anonymise it.

Security

While we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted online, and any such transmission is at your own risk. You accept the inherent security implications of providing information over the internet and agree not to hold us responsible for any breach of security unless we have been negligent or in wilful default.
